So, you think you want to be a real estate agent?  But what does a real estate agent do all day?   We have to put together a list of several fo the activities you will undertake as a real estate agent in order to develop your business:

Listings - The easiest way agents have to control their time and income.  Think of it as opening your own retail store.  How do you get them?

Representing Buyers:

  1. Buyer Interview - Before you show property to a customer, sit down with your customers and find out what they really want.
  2. Mortgages - Understand the mortgage process, learn how to qualify buyers and answer fundamental questions about different types of loans and seek to join forces with mortgages partner. 
  3. Negotiating - Bring the deal to a successful conclusion, from showing to contract to closing and beyond.

Networking - Don’t give up those outside activities.  Making and keeping connections with people is the life-blood of your career in real estate!

 

Civic Awareness - Staying up-to-date on local issues regarding highways, re-routing roads, environmental issues, and community developments is critical knowledge for you to share with  buyers and sellers.
